		<description>My California-born wife still does not believe me when I tell her that - as a kid in Arkansas - I ate squirrel (both fried and in a stew). We did, however, use a .22 rifle - all the road kill that I remember, well I&#039;d rather not remember.</description>

		<description>That&#039;s true.  Hundreds of years ago, much of the Native American Culture of current Mexico extended into much of what is currently the United States.  In addition, prior to that, all humans in the Americas came from elsewhere, so all humans are immigrants--it&#039;s just a matter of how far back we choose to go.  Still, as one might guess from my posts, I think the whole issue of &quot;illegal&quot; vs. legal immigrants is based on racism at it&#039;s heart.
